Windows andLinux – go hand in hand
August 15, 2008
if you are geeky like me, i think you may like this too
for years ive been trying to tinker on my pc or laptop to run linux operationally… but theres something missing. the world (as far as i know) works with Windows – office, schools, net cafes, everywhere i look, theres a trace of Gates. lets admit it, only those who are the ‘risk-takers’ use linux (maybe thats a hard word) but i think its true.
ive worked with bsd, debian, fedora, and recently the flavor of the month/year/s – ubuntu but i still use windows… at work, writing programs (for windows), games… and all of these works very very well in windows.
i thank God i found the right one for me, the all amazing andLinux (andLinux.org).
just download the bin file, install and whooosh, you can now run linux apps ON WINDOWS, i repeat ON WINDOWS! its alive! its alive! hehe
now my pc is versatile than ever…
andLinux is on beta so if you want to try it, youll have to make a risk.
***now how can i run conky?
Zeitgeist
August 10, 2008
I had a spare time once and looked for something of interest. There are many events in our world that needs further scrutiny and maybe thats why I am interested in conspiracy theories.
Hitting up video.google.com and searched for documentaries -> >20mins movies -> sort by popularity and this ‘Zeitgeist’ film ranked no.1. Truly this could be a great movie. So I watched it…
done.
I was so amazed and felt fear for the world after the movie. But certain aspects does not seem to be accurate and/or true (as far as my research is included). Ignoring the last two parts, I am more concerned at the first part. Though I am a Roman Catholic but not a religious one. I dont even go to church every Sunday maybe due to the nature of my work. The first part of the film announces that Christianity plagiarize the life of Horus,Crishna,Dionysus, etc. But the question is, where are your sources?… Even in wikipedia I dont see the similarities of these religious icons.
Well, I think the movie/documentary only offers new beliefs and/or alternative thinking. And Ill just put it that way…
